Why? Using the desktop sync software enables you to synchronise additional info such as pictures, videos, music files, Microsoft Office files, and notes. So you can create and work on files on your smartphone and then sync changes to your computer, where you then have a backed-up and up-to-date copy of important info. Before you can synchronise, you need to install your desktop sync software and connect the USB sync cable to your computer.
