5 YOUR EMAIL AND OTHER WIRELESS SERVICES CHAPTER based on the type of email account you set up: Corporate email or both: Select Refresh. TIP For corporate email accounts, the default settings do wireless synchronization whenever info changes in Microsoft® Office Outlook®. To find out how often you can expect message delivery, contact your system administrator and ask about your company's server settings. For Internet email accounts, the default settings do wireless synchronization every 30 minutes. To customize your Wireless Sync settings, select Setup at the bottom of the screen, and then select Push/ReadySync. Setting up an IMAP or POP email account BEFORE YOU BEGIN Work with your system administrator to gather the following info: • Account type (POP3 or IMAP) • Mail server name for receiving mail • Mail server name for sending mail • Your username and password You can send and receive email messages with an email account that you have with an Internet service provider (ISP), an email account that you access using a VPN server connection (such as a work account), or any other IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) or POP email account. 1 Go to your Today screen. 2 Press Messaging key).
