Chapter 4 4. 2. 3 Advanced Features Configure the Network with Omada SDN Controller Overview Advanced features include Fast Roaming, Band Steering, and Beacon Control, which are applicable to APs only. With these advanced features configured properly, you can improve the network's stability, reliability and communication efficiency. Advanced features are recommended to be configured by network administrators with the WLAN knowledge. If you are not sure about your network conditions and the potential impact of all settings, keep Advanced Features disabled in Services to use their default configurations. Configuration Select a site from the drop down list of Sites in the top-right corner, go to Settings > Site, and enable Advanced Features in Services first. Then configure the following features in Advanced Features. Click Save. 50
