They will heat up more quickly and evenly if you place them in microwavable dishes. Different parts of the meal may heat up at different rates. Liquids, such as water, coffee or tea could be overheated. They can be heated beyond the boiling point without appearing to boil. For example, there is not always visible bubbling or boiling when the container is removed from the microwave oven. THIS COULD RESULT IN VERY HOT LIQUIDS SUDDENLY BOILING OVER WHEN THE CONTAINER IS DISTURBED OR A UTENSIL IS INSERTED INTO THE LIQUID. ř WARNING:ĄHeated liquids can erupt if not mixed with air. Do not heat liquids in your microwave oven without first stirring them. When boiling is delayed, the liquid comes to a boil without the customary steam bubbles. Even if the container only vibrates a little, the liquid can boil over a lot or spatter. This can cause injuries and scalding. Always cover the food. If you do not have a suitable lid for your dish, use a plate or special microwave foil. You should stir or turn the food several times during heating. Monitor the temperature. Once you have heated up the meals, leave them to stand for another 2 to 5 minutes so that the temperature can stabilize.
