CHAPTER 51 Remote Management This chapter covers remote management found in SMT menu 24.11. 51.1 Remote Management Remote management allows you to determine which services/protocols can access which ZyWALL interface (if any) from which computers. " When you configure remote management to allow management from any network except the LAN, you still need to configure a firewall rule to allow access. See Chapter 13 on page 251 for details on configuring firewall rules. You can also disable a service on the ZyWALL by not allowing access for the service/protocol through any of the ZyWALL interfaces. To disable remote management of a service, select Disable in the corresponding Access field. Enter 11 from menu 24 to bring up Menu 24.11 - Remote Management Control.
