Table 105 DHCP Extended Options OPTION NAME CODE DESCRIPTION Time Offset 2 Time Server 4 NTP Server 42 TFTP Server Name 66 Bootfile 67 SIP Server 120 VIVC 124 This option specifies the offset of the client's subnet in seconds from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). This option specifies a list of Time servers available to the client. This option specifies a list of the NTP servers available to the client by IP address. This option is used to identify a TFTP server when the "sname" field in the DHCP header has been used for DHCP options. The minimum length of the value is 1. This option carries a list of IPv4 addresses indicating one or more CAPWAP ACs available to the WTP. 150 The option contains one or more IPv4 addresses that the client may use. The current use of this option is for downloading configuration from a VoIP server via TFTP; however, the option may be used for purposes other than contacting a VoIP configuration server. 9.5 PPP Interfaces Use PPPoE/PPTP/L2TP interfaces to connect to your ISP. NTP Server

This option specifies a list of the NTP servers available to the client by IP address.

TFTP Server Name

This option is used to identify a TFTP server when the “sname” field in the DHCP

header has been used for DHCP options. The minimum length of the value is 1.

Bootfile

This option is used to identify a bootfile when the “file” field in the DHCP header

has been used for DHCP options. The minimum length of the value is 1.

SIP Server

the SIP client to locate a SIP server.

The Control And Provisioning of Wireless Access Points Protocol allows a Wireless

Termination Point (WTP) to use DHCP to discover the Access Controllers to which it

is to connect. This option carries a list of IPv4 addresses indicating one or more

CAPWAP ACs available to the WTP.

TFTP Server

The option contains one or more IPv4 addresses that the client may use. The

current use of this option is for downloading configuration from a VoIP server via

TFTP; however, the option may be used for purposes other than contacting a VoIP

configuration server.
