NAMES OF MACHINE PARTS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS Operation Buttons a "Start/Stop" button Press this button to begin embroidering. The button changes color according to the machine's operation mode. Green: The machine is ready to embroider or is embroidering. Red: The machine cannot embroider. b "Needle Position" button Press this button to raise or lower the needle. c "Thread Cutter" button Press this button after embroidering to automatically trim the excess thread. d "Presser Foot Lifter" button Press this button to lower the embroidery foot and apply pressure to the fabric. Press this button again to raise the embroidery foot. e "Automatic Threading" button Use this button to automatically thread the needle. CAUTION • Do not press the thread cutter button after the threads have been cut. The needle may break and threads may become tangled, or damage to the machine may occur. B-10
