Power Supply The power of the scanner is designed to turn ON when the feed tray is opened or closed. To turn the power ON or OFF, operate the scanner as described below. Turning ON the Power 1 Raise the feed tray slightly while pressing the feed tray release lever. 2 Extend the front panel of the feed tray before opening the entire feed tray. The scanner turns ON, and the Start button lights. IMPORTANT The Start button may blink slowly when the USB cable is connected and the feed tray is opened. When this occurs, wait for the power indicator to stop blinking and light steadily before using the scanner. 25

Power Supply
The power of the scanner is designed to turn ON when the feed tray
is opened or closed. To turn the power ON or OFF, operate the
scanner as described below.
Turning ON the Power

Raise the feed tray slightly while pressing the feed tray
release lever.

Extend the front panel of the feed tray before opening the
entire feed tray.
The scanner turns ON, and the Start button lights.
IMPORTANT
The Start button may blink slowly when the USB cable is
connected and the feed tray is opened. When this occurs, wait for
the power indicator to stop blinking and light steadily before
using the scanner.
