Basic Smartphone Functions Connecting to the Internet Your phone connects to the Internet using a cellular data network. Selecting Cellular Data Networks You can connect to the Internet through EDGE, GPRS, 3G, HSDPA, or Wi-Fi networks. Check the carrier's network coverage in your area for availability. Ensure that you get the appropriate service plan for a desired network. Basic Smartphone Settings This section provides information about the basic settings for your smartphone.
