If you select these items and press Enter, a dialog box appears and then you can enter a password. You can enter no more than six letters or numbers. Press Enter after you have typed in the password. A second dialog box asks you to retype the password for confirmation. Press Enter after you have retyped it correctly. The password is required at boot time, or when the user enters the Setup Utility. Sets the user access level: • No Access: prevents user access to the Setup Utility. • View Only: allows user access to the Setup Utility but the fields cannot be changed. • Limited: allows only limited fields to be changed such as date and time. • Full Access: allows user access to the Setup Utility and the fields can be changed. Using the System Setup Program
Change Supervisor Password
Installs, changes or clears the password.
If you select these items and press
Enter
, a dialog box
appears and then you can enter a password. You can
enter no more than six letters or numbers.
