Using Vertical Cursors on a Waveform To use the cursors for a time measurement, or for an RMS measurement of the trace section between the cursors (C versions), do the following: 1 From scope mode, display the cursor key labels. 4 Using Replay, Zoom and Cursors Making Cursor Measurements 2 Press to highlight . Observe that two vertical cursors are displayed. Markers (-) identify the point where the cursors cross the Figure 25. The screen shows the time difference between the cursors 4 If necessary, choose the trace: and the voltage difference between the two markers. (See TRACE A ,B, or M (Mathematics). Figure 25.) 5 Highlight the left cursor. 9 Select OFF to turn off the cursors. 6 Move the left cursor to the desired position on the waveform. 7 Highlight the right cursor. 47
