Navigating on the Road 189 Search for a place of interest You can search and locate a place of interest using Google Maps. Google Maps also shows the contact information and gives directions on how to get to the place of interest from your current location. Note You can also enter keywords, street addresses, or postal codes when searching places using Google Maps. 1. On the Google Maps screen, tap Search. 2. Enter the place of interest you want to find, and then tap OK. 3. Search results will then be listed. Tap the desired place from the list to view its address, phone number, and other details.
