Starting out a new project with templates can save you time. You can begin with a template, then modify it as needed for each new project.  Populating the Templates Folder  Working with Templates and Page Backgrounds  Adding and Removing Links to Folders in the Templates Folder Populating the Templates Folder To add a page to the Templates folder Use one of the following methods for adding a page to the Templates folder: 1. Right-click directly on the Scrapbook page and select Add Page to Templates or select Page > Add Page to Templates. The Add Page to Templates Folder dialog window displays. 2. Enter a name for your new template page. 3. Click OK. A copy of the entire page and all its contents is saved as a template in the Templates folder. To delete a template 1. Select the Templates folder. 2. From the Preview Pane, select the Template you want to delete. 3. Use one of the following methods to delete the template: a) Select the Delete key on your keyboard or right-click the template in the Preview Pane and select Delete Templates. The Delete Template confirmation window displays. b) Select Delete. The template no longer displays in the Preview Pane and is no longer associated with the Templates folder. Working with Templates and Page Backgrounds As you work with templates and page backgrounds, it is helpful to be aware of certain options you have. In the simplest case, you may have a blank Scrapbook page, and you want to start by adding a Template to your page that includes a background and some page objects. In other cases, if you are working with a Scrapbook page that already has a background but you want to include page objects from a template that has a different background, you can add the page objects from the Template without replacing your current page background in Scrapbook. You also have the option of replacing a page background with the background and objects from a template. To add a Template Page to a Scrapbook Page 1. Select the Templates folder. Page 92

To add a page to the Templates folder
Use one of the following methods for adding a page to the Templates folder:

Right-click directly on the Scrapbook page and select
Add Page to Templates
or select
Page

. The Add Page to Templates Folder dialog window
displays.

In other cases, if you are working with a Scrapbook page that already has a background but
you want to include page objects from a template that has a different background, you can
add the page objects from the Template without replacing your current page background in
Scrapbook.

from a template.

1.
Select the Templates folder.
