Same as CSM 14 (default) When an MB-D100 battery pack is attached, the AF-ON button performs the same function as the AE-L/AF-L button on the camera body, as determined by Custom Setting 14 ( 154). Focus Area Only When an MB-D100 battery pack is attached, the focus area can be selected by pressing the AF-ON button and rotating the sub-command dial on the battery pack. The battery-pack AFON button does not perform the same function as the camera AE-L/AF-L button. Custom Setting 26: Batt PK Volume The optional MB-D100 multi-function battery pack ( 180) is equipped with a microphone, allowing brief voice memos to be added to photographs. Custom Setting 26 (available only when the MBD100 is connected) controls the level of the battery pack's speaker when these recordings are played back.
