When the picture is protected or the write-protect adhesive seal is placed on the card, the camera does not enter the Erase mode. Either cancel the protection or remove the seal in order to start erasing. (Do not use the seal again.) 1 Set the Mode dial to " ", and display the picture you want to erase. 2 Press the Erase button, then press the OK button with YES selected. ● To cancel, press the Erase button again or select NO in the screen above and press the OK button. ● One-Frame erase is also available in the Index-Display mode (p. 150) and the Close-Up display mode (p. 152). ● See page 164 for performing All-Frame erase. Caution: x Never open the card cover, eject the card, remove the batteries, or pull the plug while erasing pictures. It may destroy the data in the card. x Do not press the Erase button while an image is being loaded onto the LCD.

ONE-FRAME ERASE
You can delete pictures you do not want.
When the picture is protected or the write-protect adhesive
seal is placed on the card, the camera does not enter the
Erase mode. Either cancel the protection or remove the seal
in order to start erasing. (Do not use the seal again.)

Set the Mode dial to “
”, and display the picture you
want to erase.

Press the Erase button, then press the OK button with
YES
selected.
To cancel, press the Erase button again or select
NO
in the
screen above and press the OK button.
One-Frame erase is also available in the Index-Display
mode (p. 150) and the Close-Up display mode (p. 152).
See page 164 for performing All-Frame erase.
Caution:
Never open the card cover, eject the card,
remove the batteries, or pull the plug while
erasing pictures. It may destroy the data in the
card.
Do not press the Erase button while an image is
being loaded onto the LCD.
