P (Program) Auto setting. A (Aperture priority) Select the aperture, and the best shutter speed is determined automatically. S (Shutter priority) Select the shutter speed, and the best aperture is determined automatically. 1 When "S" or "A" is selected, the LCD monitor turns on automatically. In the "S" mode, you can select between 1/2 sec. (different when the flash is used) and 1/800 sec. With the "A" mode, you can select between F2.0 and F11 with Wide-angle shooting and between F2.8 and F11 with Telephoto shooting by pressing the top/bottom arrows on the Jog dial. ● If the proper exposure cannot be attained, the aperture, shutter speed and exposure compensation indicators on the LCD monitor will blink in red. 68
