Charging the Battery Your phone is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery. Use the travel adapter to charge the battery, and use only Samsung approved batteries and chargers. Note: You must fully charge the battery before using your phone for the first time. A fully discharged battery requires up to 4 hours of charge time. Caution!: For connection to an electrical supply not located in the U.S., you must use an adaptor of the proper configuration for the power outlet. Use of the wrong adaptor could damage your phone and void your warranty. 1. Open the side slot and plug the connector of the travel adapter jack into the jack on the side of the phone. If you change the alert from Vibration to Mute, you will see a flashing message that indicates a low battery.

Charging the Battery
Your phone is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery. Use the
travel adapter to charge the battery, and use only Samsung
approved batteries and chargers.
Note:
You must fully charge the battery before using your phone for the first
time. A fully discharged battery requires up to 4 hours of charge time.
Caution!:
For connection to an electrical supply not located in the U.S., you
must use an adaptor of the proper configuration for the power
outlet. Use of the wrong adaptor could damage your phone and
void your warranty.

Open the side slot and plug the connector of the travel
adapter jack into the jack on the side of the phone.
