Creating a Temporary Group Create a temporary group, to make addressing a message to multiple contacts easier. Note: This procedure uses the QWERTY keyboard. Rotate the phone and slide it open to access the QWERTY keyboard. 1. From the Main screen, press CONTACTS. 2. Press OPTIONS ➔ New Group. 3. At the prompt, press START. Use the Navigation Keys to highlight contact(s), and press the MENU/OK Key to mark contacts for the group. 4. When the desired contacts are marked, press OPTIONS ➔ Send Msg. 5. In the new Compose Message screen, the selected contacts are entered in the To field. Continue creating the message, as desired. For more information, see "Sending Messages" on page 49. Speed Dials Store up to 99 phone numbers as Speed Dials, to quickly place a call by dialing 1 to 3 digits. You can assign speed dial numbers when you add a new Contacts entry, when you add a new phone number to an existing entry, or when you edit an existing number. Creating a Temporary Group
Create a temporary group, to make addressing a
message to multiple contacts easier.
Note:
This procedure uses the QWERTY keyboard.
Rotate the phone and slide it open to access
the QWERTY keyboard.
1.
From the Main screen, press
CONTACTS
.
2.
Press
OPTIONS
New Group
.
3.
At the prompt, press
START
. Use the
Navigation Keys
to highlight
contact(s), and press the
MENU/OK Key
to mark contacts for the group.
4.
When the desired contacts are marked,
press
OPTIONS
Send Msg
.
5.
In the new
Compose Message
screen, the
selected contacts are entered in the To
field. Continue creating the message, as
desired. For more information, see

on page 49.
Speed Dials
Store up to 99 phone numbers as Speed Dials, to
