Text Settings Configure settings for text entry to your preferences. 1. While entering text, press OPTIONS ➔ Text Mode ➔ Text Settings. 2. Configure these settings: • Auto-Capital: Set to On to have the first word in a field, and the first word after a period, be capitalized automatically, or choose Off. • Auto-Space: Set to On to have a space inserted automatically when you select a word, or choose Off. • Predictive Language: Select the language to be used when using the Predictive Text entry mode. Choose Display Language to use the current language used for the phone's displays, or select English or Spanish. • Word Choice List: Set to On to have a list of possible matches display as you enter text in Predictive Text entry mode, or Off. • Word Prediction: Set to On to have Predictive Text predict the next word, or choose Off. • Word Completion: Set to On to have Predictive Text insert the most likely matching word entered automatically as you enter text, or choose Off. • Use My Words: Set to On to have Predictive Text use words from your Personal Dictionary over other possible matches, or choose Off.
