Entering Numbers Enter numbers by pressing the number keys on the top row of the QWERTY keyboard. Ⅲ While entering text in any mode, press the Function Key, then press the key showing the desired number. - or - Switch to 123 mode. While entering text, press OPTIONS ➔ Text Mode ➔ 123, then press the key showing the desired number. Entering Smileys Enter Smileys by pressing the Function key, then the Smileys key, or by switching to Smileys text entry mode. Ⅲ While entering text, press OPTIONS ➔ Text Mode ➔ Smileys, then press the number key beside the smiley. Press the Navigation Keys to scroll the Smileys pages. Using Preset Messages Preset Messages are pre-loaded phrases that you can insert into your messages. 1. While entering text, press OPTIONS ➔ Text Mode ➔ Add Preset Message. 2. Use the Navigation Keys to highlight a phrase, then press SELECT, or press the number for the message. 44 Entering Symbols Enter symbols by pressing the Function Key to access the blue symbols at the top of the keys, or use Symbols mode. Ⅲ While entering text in any mode, press the Function Key, then press the key showing the desired symbol. - or - Press the Symbols Key, then press the number key beside the symbol.
