After the files are uploaded to your Seagate Central, they are added to the Videos, Photos, Music, or Documents screen in the Seagate Media app. Disabling Access from the Seagate Media App By default, the files on your Seagate Central device are visible from the Seagate Media app. If you want to prevent the app from having access to files on your Seagate Central, do the following: 1. Log in to your Seagate Central as an administrator. See "Logging In to Your Seagate Central" on page 39. 2. Click the Services tab. 3. Click Seagate Media. 4. Uncheck the box next to Enable to disable the service. When the Seagate Media service is disabled, your Seagate Central is not visible in the Seagate Media app. Seagate Central User Guide 33

Disabling Access from the Seagate Media App
By default, the files on your Seagate Central device are visible from the Seagate Media app.
If you want to prevent the app from having access to files on your Seagate Central, do the
following:
1.
Log in to your Seagate Central as an administrator. See “Logging In to Your Seagate Central”
on page 39.

Click the
Services
tab.

Seagate Media
.

Uncheck the box next to Enable to disable the service.
When the Seagate Media service is disabled, your Seagate Central is not visible in the
Seagate Media app.
