Others Privacy mask setting range The setting range of the privacy mask is limited as follows: Pan angle: No limit 360° Tilt angle: 0° to +70° 70° Note The privacy mask area is a rectangle that is specified with respect to the center of the camera image. The privacy mask may not be set in areas close to the end of pan/tilt operation. Using the Custom Homepage Installer The supplied Custom Homepage Installer allows you to store the homepage that you have created in the camera and watch it. Note The Custom Homepage Installer does not support SSL connection. When the SSL function (page 49) is set to On and HTTP connection for some clients is not selected, the Custom Homepage Installer can not be used. To use the Custom Homepage Installer, set the SSL function to On and select the HTTP connection for some clients, or set the SSL function to Off. (The model on sale in China does not support the SSL function.) Notes on creating the homepage When you are creating the homepage, note the following points. • The file name should be typed using up to 24 characters including the extension. • The file size of the homepage should be 2.0 MB or less. • To see the created homepage, set the Homepage in the System menu. Uploading the homepage to the camera using the Custom Homepage Installer 1 Insert the CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive. A cover page appears automatically in your Web browser. If it does not appear automatically in the Web browser, double-click on the index.htm file on the CD-ROM. When you are using Windows Vista, pop-up "AutoPlay" may appear. For details, "Installing software" in "When using Windows Vista" on page 12. 2 Click the Start icon of Custom Homepage Installer. The "File Download" dialog opens. When you are using Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista, a message regarding the active contents may appear.
