• When the front speakers are set to "Small", the center, surround, and surround back/front high speakers are also automatically set to "Small". • If you do not use the subwoofer, the front speakers are automatically set to "Large". x Crossover Freq. (Speaker crossover frequency) Lets you set the bass crossover frequency of speakers that the speaker size has been set to "Small" in the Speaker Settings menu. Measured speaker crossover frequency is set for each speaker after the Auto Calibration. 1 Select the parameter under the speaker on the screen for which you want to adjust the crossover frequency, then press . 2 Adjust the value, then press . x Test Tone Lets you select the test tone type on the "Test Tone" screen. Tips • To adjust the level of all speakers at the same time, press 2 +/-. You can also use MASTER VOLUME on the receiver. • The adjusted value is shown on the TV screen during adjustment. To output test tone from each speaker You can output test tone from the speakers in sequence. 1 Select "Test Tone", then press . 2 Select the type of test tone or speaker you want, then press . • Off: The test tone is output from each speaker manually. • Auto: The test tone is output from each speaker in sequence. • Fix FL, Fix FR, Fix CNT, Fix SL, Fix SR, Fix SB*, Fix SBL, Fix SBR, Fix LH, Fix RH, Fix SW: You can select which speakers will output the test tone. 3 Adjust the speaker level for manual test tone, then press . * "Fix SB" appears when only one surround back speaker is connected. x Distance Unit Lets you select the unit of measurement for setting distances. • feet: The distance is displayed in feet. • meter: The distance is displayed in meters. Audio Settings menu You can adjust settings for the audio to suit your preference. x D.L.L. (Digital Legato Linear) The D.L.L. function is Sony proprietary technology that allows low quality digital audio signals and analog audio signals to be played back with high quality sound. • Auto 1: This function is available for lossy compression audio formats and analog audio signals. • Auto 2: This function is available for Linear PCM signals, as well as lossy compression audio formats and analog audio signals. • Off Notes • This function may not work, depending on the content via a USB device, or a home network. • This function works when "A.F.D. Auto", "Multi Stereo", "2ch Stereo", or "Headphone (2ch)" is selected. However, this function does not work in the following cases. - "FM TUNER" or "AM TUNER" input is selected. - Linear PCM signals with a sampling frequency of other than 44.1 kHz are being received. - Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby TrueHD, DTS 96/24, DTS-HD Master Audio, or DTS-HD High Resolution Audio signals are being received. - During network function, signals with a sampling frequency of other than 44.1 kHz is being received. 92US
