The 3.5 mm diameter headphone jack lets you connect stereo headphones. Connecting headphones to this jack automatically disables the internal speaker. For more information about the Portégé 2010's audio capabilities, see "Using audio features" on page 120. The 3.5 mm diameter monaural microphone jack lets you connect an external microphone for recording sound. The infrared port allows cordless communication with a computer or other device, such as a printer, that has a compatible infrared port. The PC Card eject button releases the PC Card from the PC Card slot. For more information, see "Using PC Cards" on page 102. The PC Card slot can hold one Type I PC Card or one Type II PC Card.
