GETTING READY Caution! • Use the AC adaptor where it will not be splashed with water. Water creates the risk of fire and electric shock. • Do not place a vase or any other container filled with liquid on top of the AC adaptor. Water creates the risk of fire and electric shock. • Make sure you always remove the camera from the USB cradle before connecting or disconnecting the AC adaptor. • Charging, USB data communication, and using the Photo Stand feature can cause the AC adaptor to become warm. This is normal and does not indicate malfunction. • Unplug the AC power cord from the power outlet whenever you are not using it. • Never place a blanket or any other cover on the AC adaptor. Doing so creates the risk of fire. Turning the Camera On and Off I To turn on the camera Press the power button, [ ] (REC) or [ ] (PLAY). The green operation lamp will light momentarily, and then power will turn on. The mode the camera enters depends on which button you pressed to turn it on.
