If the VMPS is being defined for a cluster of switches, enter the address on the command switch. Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to enter the IP address of the VMPS: Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Command configure terminal vmps server ipaddress primary vmps server ipaddress Step 4 end Step 5 show vmps Purpose Enter global configuration mode. Enter the IP address of the switch acting as the primary VMPS server. Enter the IP address for the switch acting as a secondary VMPS server. You can enter up to three secondary server addresses. Return to privileged EXEC mode. Verify the VMPS server entry.
