Removing a Blank Drive Bezel, Installing a CD-ROM, Tape, or PD-CD Drive

Removing a Blank Drive Bezel To remove a blank drive bezel, complete the following steps: 1. Turn off the computer, disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet, and remove the side panel and front bezel. 2. Remove the screws securing the appropriate drive bezel from inside the front bezel. Removing a Drive Bezel Installing a CD-ROM, Tape, or PD-CD Drive To install an optional CD-ROM drive, IDE tape drive, or PDCD Drive, complete the following steps: 1. If you have locked the Smart Cover Lock, use Computer Setup to unlock the lock. For more information about Computer Setup, refer to Chapter 8, "Using Compaq Utilities." 2.
