Rule the password length and characters to increase the security of Captive Portal user authentication. 1. Go to Security > Authentication > User Database > Password Rules. 2. Complete the fields in the table below and click Save. Field Description Password Enforcement Toggle on to turn on the following password rules. Minimal Password Length Enter the minimum number of characters required. Minimal Numeric Characters Enter the minimum number of numbers that users must use in their password.
