Assign Router ID You can assign a router ID for the OSPFv3 process. Configure an arbitrary value in the IP address format for each router. Each router ID must be unique. Use the fixed router ID for the active OSPFv3 router process. Changing the router ID brings down the existing OSPFv3 adjacency.
