6. You must install EPSON TWAIN HS to use your scanner. Make sure a check mark appears beside it. Also select Acrobat Reader (if you need to install it) and EPSON GT-30000 Registration, then click OK. Don't select either of the two network applications, EPSON TWAIN HS Network or EPSON Scan Server. The EPSON TWAIN HS driver lets you scan when your scanner is connected directly to your computer. If you want to use the scanner on a network, go to Chapter 4, "Network Scanning," instead. 7. Follow the instructions on the screen to install EPSON TWAIN HS.
