XT9
is a predictive text input mode which displays a word suggestions

To enter text using XT9 mode

Make sure that the input mode is set to XT9:
When using the Full QWERTY layout, XT9 mode is turned on
by default. To turn XT9 mode on, press START and then tap
Settings > Locale & text > Text input > input options
. If the

tap it to turn it on.
When using the Compact QWERTY or Phone Keypad layout,
