Power Supply, Removing the Power Supply

Power Supply WARNING! Voltage is always present on the system board when the computer is plugged into an active AC outlet. To avoid possible personal injury and damage to the equipment the power cord should be disconnected from the computer and/or the AC outlet before opening the computer. 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 61). 2. Remove the computer cover (Computer Cover on page 64). 3. Rotate the drive cage up and disconnect the power cables from all of the drives. 4. Press the release latch (1) and rotate the power supply to its full upright position (2). 5. Disconnect the power cables from the system board and lift the power supply straight up and out of the chassis (3). CAUTION: When installing the power supply cables, make sure they are properly positioned so they are not cut by the drive cage and are not pinched by the rotating power supply. ENWW Power Supply 111

Power Supply
WARNING!

be disconnected from the computer and/or the AC outlet before opening the computer.

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

2.
Remove the computer cover (

3.
Rotate the drive cage up and disconnect the power cables from all of the drives.
4.
Press the release latch

and rotate the power supply to its full upright position

Disconnect the power cables from the system board and lift the power supply straight up and out
