Each of the LDEVs that consist of a LUSE volume is counted as one volume. Unallocated OPEN LDEVs The number of open-system volumes (LDEVs) that do not have assigned paths. This number does not include reserved volumes of XP Auto LUN, journal volumes, pool volumes, system disks, or quorum disks. Reserved OPEN LDEVs The number of reserved volumes of XP Auto LUN, journal volumes, pool volumes, system disks, and quorum disks among open-system volumes (LDEVs). This number does not include reserved volumes of XP Business Copy. Allocated Mainframe LDEVs The number of zSeries, S/390, and multiplatform volumes (LDEVs) that have assigned paths. This number does not include reserved volumes of XP Auto LUN, journal volumes, pool volumes, system disks, or quorum disks. Reserved Mainframe LDEVs The number of reserved volumes of XP Auto LUN, journal volumes, system disks, and quorum disks among zSeries, S/390, and multiplatform volumes (LDEVs). This number does not include reserved volumes of ShadowImage for Mainframe. V-VOL The number of V-VOLs that are virtual volumes (LDEVs) that do not consume the actual disk capacity. V-VOLs are currently used for XP Snapshot and XP Thin Provisioning. For details, see the HP StorageWorks XP24000/XP20000 Snapshot User Guide or the HP StorageWorks XP24000/XP20000 Thin Provisioning Software User Guide. Total (All LDEVs) The sum of allocated OPEN LDEVs, unallocated OPEN LDEVs, reserved OPEN LDEVs, allocated Mainframe LDEVs, reserved Mainframe LDEVs, and V-VOLs. Port Status Window The Port Status window displays the port information using the image of the ports mounted on the storage system. To open the Port Status window, log in to the Remote Web Console, and then select Go, Device Status and Alerts and Port Status from the menu bar of the Remote Web Console main window. that consist of a LUSE volume is counted as one volume.
Allocated OPEN LDEVs
The number of open-system volumes (LDEVs) that do not have assigned paths. This number
does not include reserved volumes of XP Auto LUN, journal volumes, pool volumes, system
disks, or quorum disks.
Unallocated OPEN LDEVs
The number of reserved volumes of XP Auto LUN, journal volumes, pool volumes, system
disks, and quorum disks among open-system volumes (LDEVs). This number does not
include reserved volumes of XP Business Copy.
Reserved OPEN LDEVs

does not include reserved volumes of ShadowImage for Mainframe.
Reserved Mainframe LDEVs
The number of V-VOLs that are virtual volumes (LDEVs) that do not consume the actual
disk capacity. V-VOLs are currently used for XP Snapshot and XP Thin Provisioning. For
details, see the
HP StorageWorks XP24000/XP20000 Snapshot User Guide
or the
HP
StorageWorks XP24000/XP20000 Thin Provisioning Software User Guide
.
