Note: When you reinstall the hot-swap hard drives after replacing the SCSI Backplane, each drive will need to be replaced in the same bay from which it was removed. 5. Remove the shuttle (see "Removing the shuttle" on page 135). 6. Remove the vertical hot-swap fan assembly. 7. Grasp the handhold and lift the SCSI backplane assembly with backerplate up and out of the server. 8. To install the SCSI backplane assembly, reverse the above procedure.
