12 MENU SCREEN OPERATION ■ Set mode items D Auto power OFF The transceiver can be set to automatically turn OFF after a specified time period with a beep when no key operations are performed. 30 min., 60 min, 90 min, 120 min and OFF (default) can be specified. The specified time period is retained even when the transceiver is turned OFF by the auto power OFF function. To cancel the function, select "OFF" in this item. Auto power OFF
The transceiver can be set to automatically turn OFF after
a specified time period with a beep when no key operations
are performed.
30 min., 60 min, 90 min, 120 min and OFF
(default)
can be
specified. The specified time period is retained even when
the transceiver is turned OFF by the auto power OFF func-
tion. To cancel the function, select “OFF” in this item.

Power save
The power save function reduces the current drain to con-
serve battery power. This power save function can be turned
OFF, if desired, by turning power ON and OFF.
