03 Getting Started How to replace the fuse • This product contains a built-in fuse to protect the Car Power Cable from short circuiting. • If the Car Power Cable does not work, check whether the fuse has blown, and then replace the fuse as needed. (If the problem persists after replacing the fuse, please contact the Samsung service center nearest you.) • Be sure to use a 250V/3A fuse only. 1. Rotate the front part of the plug to remove it from the Car Power Cable as shown in the illustration. 2. Replace the fuse with a new fuse of the proper rating and put the parts together in the order you removed them. a Rotate the front part of the plug to remove. b Replace the fuse and put the parts back in the reverse order. Using it on a positive grounded vehicle may result in fire or malfunction. • When plugging this product into your vehicle's cigar lighter, do so with your vehicle's engine turned on. (Using the Car Power Cable with your vehicle's engine turned off may drain the vehicle's battery of all power and the engine may fail to start.) • Be sure to remove the Car Power Cable from the cigarette lighter before turning the vehicle's engine on or off. • Depending on your vehicle's make and model, you may not be able to use this product because of the difference in shape of the cigar lighter. • Your Car Power Cable may not work if there are cigarette ashes inside the cigar lighter. Clean any ashes or debris from the socket before using. • When using this product to supply power to your player, picture interference may occur if the player and cable are in close proximity of each other. If this occurs, place them about 4 inches (10cm) apart. • If static or noise occurs on the car radio when you use of this product, place the Car Power Cable farther away from the car radio. • Do not disassemble or modify this product in any way. • Do not drop or strike the product. • Do not store or use this product in direct sunlight or high temperature. (This may cause deformation, discoloration, or malfunction.) • Do not leave this product in a vehicle with closed windows. • If you replace the fuse, be sure to use a 250V/3A fuse only. Warnings and cautions on using the Car Power Cable
This product is intended for use on negative grounded vehicles only. Using it on a positive grounded vehicle
may result in fire or malfunction.
When plugging this product into your vehicle’s cigar lighter, do so with your vehicle’s engine turned on.
(Using the Car Power Cable with your vehicle’s engine turned off may drain the vehicle’s battery of all power
and the engine may fail to start.)
Be sure to remove the Car Power Cable from the cigarette lighter before turning the vehicle’s engine on or off.
Depending on your vehicle’s make and model, you may not be able to use this product because of the

Your Car Power Cable may not work if there are cigarette ashes inside the cigar lighter. Clean any ashes or
