ENGLISH Troubles in the network setup of the Card Slot Problem Unable to determine whether the Card Slot is mounted Possible Cause and Measures Open [My Computer], and find the [canon_memory on 'MP800R(xxxxxxxxxxxx)'] icon with the mapped drive letter. * xxxxxxxxxxxx are 12 alphanumeric characters. * The icon name may differ depending on the language version of Windows you are using. The available drive letter cannot be selected on the [Network Setup of the Card Slot] dialog box The [CANON_MEMORY] icon appears on the desktop. z On this dialog box, only D to Z can be selected as the network drive for the Card Slot. z The network setup of the Card Slot might have already succeeded, and the computer merely fails to access to the Card Slot for other reasons. See "Cannot access the Card Slot after the network setup of the Card Slot is complete" in the Network Guide. Checking information about the network Problem Checking the IP address or the MAC address of the machine Possible Cause and Measures To check the IP address or the MAC address of the machine, print out the machine setup information or use Canon IJ Network Tool. For information on how to print out the machine network setting information, "Printing and Initializing Network Settings" on page 72.
