Change System Logging Settings You can change the default system logging settings (severity level and the storage location). The default is to log all messages up to debug level. Task Command Syntax Command Mode Specify the minimum severity level for logging to the logging buffer. logging buffered level CONFIGURATION Specify the minimum severity level for logging to the console. logging console level Specify the minimum severity level for logging to terminal lines. logging monitor level Specifying the minimum severity level for logging to a syslog server. logging trap level Specify the minimum severity level for logging to the syslog history logging history level table. CONFIGURATION CONFIGURATION CONFIGURATION CONFIGURATION Task Specify the size of the logging buffer. Note: When you decrease the buffer size, FTOS deletes all messages stored in the buffer. Increasing the buffer size does not affect messages in the buffer. Specify the number of messages that FTOS saves to its logging history table.
