States whether an IP address is assigned to the interface. If one is, that address is displayed. Displays the PPP peer's IP address. Displays link and IP MTU. Displays interface's line speed. Displays the ARP type and the ARP timeout value for the interface. Displays the time when the show interfaces counters where cleared. States the packet queuing strategy. FIFO means first in first out. Displays the number of packets and bytes into the interface. Displays the number of packets with IP headers, VLAN tagged headers and MPLS headers. The number of packets may not add correctly because a VLAN tagged IP packet counts as both a VLAN packet and an IP packet. Displays the size of packets and the number of those packets entering that interface. This information is displayed over 2 lines. Any PPP packet less than 64 bytes in length will be padded out to 64 bytes upon reception. This padding will be counted by the ingress byte counter. Displays the type and number of error or other specific packets received. This information is displayed over 3 lines. Displays the type and number of packets sent out the interface.
