This command accesses LINE mode, where you can set the access conditions for the designated line. Syntax line {aux 0 | console 0 | vty number [end-number]} Parameters aux 0 console 0 vty number end-number Enter the keyword aux 0 to configure the auxiliary terminal connection. Note: This option is supported on E-Series only. Enter the keyword console 0 to configure the console port. The console option for the S-Series is . Enter the keyword vty followed by a number from 0 to 9 to configure a virtual terminal line for Telnet sessions. The system supports 10 Telnet sessions. (OPTIONAL) Enter a number from 1 to 9 as the last virtual terminal line to configure. You can configure multiple lines at one time.
