Displays the default domain name, list of name server hosts, the static and the cached list of host names and addresses. The following is an example of the CLI commands: console# enable console# configure console (config)# ip host accounting.abc.com 176.10.23.1 Configuring ARP The Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) is a TCP/IP protocol that converts IP addresses into physical addresses. The static entries can be defined in the ARP Table. When static entries are defined, a permanent entry is entered and used to translate IP addresses to MAC addresses.
