Defining System Information: 1 Open the Asset page. 2 Define the relevant fields. 3 Click Apply Changes. The system parameters are defined, and the device is updated. Initiating a Telnet Session: 1 Open the Asset page. 2 Click Telnet. A Telnet session is initiated. Asset CLI Commands CLI Command Description hostname name Specifies or modifies the device host name. snmp-server contact text Sets up a system contact. snmp-server location text Enters information on where the device is located. clock set hh:mm:ss day month Manually sets the system clock and date. year show clock [detail] Displays the time and date from the system clock. show system id Displays the service tag information. show system Displays system information. asset-tag Sets the device asset tag.
