Using Film and Other Media | 65 Using Epson Paper Although the Epson Stylus Pro WT7900 is designed to work primarily with Epson film, it is possible to print on other selected Epson paper types. Check the Epson Pro Imaging website at www.proimaging.epson.com or your Epson Professional Imaging Authorized Reseller for compatible media. Always test samples of paper stock in the printer before purchasing large quantities or printing large jobs. If you use non-Epson paper or other media, you may need to adjust the settings for your paper. See page 73 for instructions. The following table shows the paper sizes you can use: Supported paper sizes Roll paper Width 10 to 24.0 in. (203 to 610 mm) Length 2 in. core: 147.6 ft (45 m) 3 in. core: 662.7 ft (202 m) Maximum 2 in. core: 4 in. (103 mm) external roll 3 in. core: 6 in. (150 mm) diameter 3.15 to 19.7 mil Thickness (0.08 to 0.5 mm) Cut sheets Letter size up to 24 in. (610 mm) Up to 62 inches (1580 mm) - 3.15 to 59 mil (0.08 to 1.5 mm) Guidelines for Using Epson Media Follow these guidelines, as well as those included in your paper package, when printing on Epson paper and other media: • Avoid touching the printable surface with your bare hands. Fingerprints may affect print quality. Handle media by the edges or use cotton gloves. • Be careful not to bend or scratch the paper. • Always choose the correct Media Type setting in your printer software before you send your job.
