11 Browser About the browser Open the browser About the browser Depending on your wireless service provider and your email setup option, more than one browser icon might appear. Your wireless service provider might also change the browser name to reflect available services. Use the BlackBerry Browser to view HTML web pages. If your Pocket PC is integrated with an account that uses a BlackBerry Enterprise Server with Mobile Data Service (BlackBerry MDS Connection Service) enabled, the BlackBerry Browser also enables you to view your corporate intranet. The Mobile Data Service is designed to provide the BlackBerry Browser with secure access to the Internet and online corporate data and applications. It encrypts content using the same encryption standard used to encrypt email messages and other BlackBerry data. Contact your system administrator for more information. Use the Internet Browser, which is available from some wireless service providers, to view HTML web pages. Contact your wireless service provider for more information about Internet Browser support.
