4. MEMORY OPERATION Entering a memory name Except for the blank channels, you can assign a name to all memory channels, including scan edges. The names will be displayed along with the frequency, mode and filter number. 1. Display the MEMORY screen. MENU » MEMORY 2. Rotate MULTI to select the channel to enter a name. (Example: Memory channel 2) 3. Touch of the selected channel. Clearing a memory channel You can clear a no-longer-used memory channel and reset it as a blank channel, except for the program channels (1A/1B ~ 3A/3B) and Call channels (C1 and C2). 1. Push V/M to select the Memory mode. 2. Push kHzM-CH . 3. Rotate MULTI to select the channel to clear. (Example: Memory channel 2) 4. Touch the channel number. 4. Touch "Edit Name." 5. Touch [M-CLR] for 1 second to clear the memory channel. LLTouch "Memory Clear" to clear any memory contents and name. 5. Enter a name, and then touch [ENT]. (Example: CQ) 6. 4. MEMORY OPERATION
Except for the blank channels, you can assign a name
to all memory channels, including scan edges.
The names will be displayed along with the frequency,
mode and filter number.

Display the MEMORY screen.

to select the channel to enter a
name. (Example: Memory channel 2)

Touch “Memory Clear” to clear any memory contents
and name.
