9. D-STAR OPERATION (BASIC) Saving settings When "FROM" (Access repeater) and "TO" (Destination) settings are saved, the settings can be selected by rotating MULTI . Step 1: S aving settings into memory 1. On the DR screen, select the settings to be saved into memory. 2. Push QUICK . 3. Touch "Memory Write." Step 2: View the saved contents 1. Hold down CALL DR for 1 second to cancel the DR screen. 2. Push V/M to enter the Memory mode. 3. Push kHzM-CH . 4. Rotate MULTI to select the saved channel. (Example: "1") 4. Touch the settings to be saved into memory. (Example: 1) Memory name TIP: Checking the Memory contents You can check the Memory contents on the MEMORY LIST screen. MENU » MEMORY 5. Touch "YES." •• The operating data is saved into a blank channel. "FROM" and "TO" names are automatically entered as the Memory name. (Up to 16 alphanumeric characters.) 9-10

Touch the settings to be saved into memory.
(Example: 1)
5. Touch “YES.”
The operating data is saved into a blank channel.
“FROM” and “TO” names are automatically entered
as the Memory name.
(Up to 16 alphanumeric characters.)
Step 2: View the saved contents
1. Hold down
CALL
DR
for 1 second to cancel the DR
screen.
2. Push
V/M
to enter the Memory mode.
3. Push

M-CH
.
4. Rotate
MULTI
to select the saved channel.

TIP: Checking the Memory contents
