Step 11: Verify setup Power switch This section of the setup guide will help you verify your printer is installed and operating correctly. You will print a settings page you can review to identify all of your installed options. The settings page also indicates if they are operating correctly. 1 Make sure the printer is on (I). After you turn the printer on, it performs a self test and warms up. During this period, the messages Performing Self Test and Warming Engine appear on the operator panel display. The self test and warming of the printer ensures all components function and the printer is at the correct operating temperature for proper operation. If you receive an error code on the operator panel display such as Error 202 (coating roll missing) refer to the troubleshooting section of the User's Guide.
