Section 3 Configuration Accessing the Web-Based Configuration Utility Logging In 1 Once the Access Point is connected, open your web browser. In the URL field enter http://192.168.40.1 (the Access Point's default IP address). Press the Enter key. The login window will appear (the WA840G login window is shown in the example below): 2 Enter the User Name. The default factory setting is admin. 3 Enter the Password. The default factory setting is motorola. Once you have logged in, for security reasons you should change the User ID and Password. See below. 4 Click OK to enter the Web-based Configuration Utility. The BASIC configuration page will appear when entering the Web-based Configuration Utility. 3-2 WA840

Accessing the Web-Based Configuration Utility
Logging In

Once the Access Point is connected, open your web browser. In the URL field enter
