Chapter 3: Installing the Software Uninstalling the SuperScript 870 Software for Windows NT To uninstall the SuperScript Printer Driver in Windows NT you must select the 870 SuperScript icon from the Printers folder and select File > Delete (or press the delete key). SuperScript 870 Windows Printer Driver The SuperScript 870 Windows Printer Driver should be installed as your default Windows printer driver. The SuperScript 870 Windows Printer Driver gives you control over your printer, including optimized graphics imaging and halftone printing. In addition, it provides a set of special printing features, including: • Watermark printing (superimposed text or graphics, such as "Draft", "Confidential", or a logo) • Booklet printing • 2-Sided printing • Thumbnail or "N-up" printing (multiple pages reduced to fit on one sheet of paper, used often for proofs) 38 • Poster printing (one page enlarged to print on multiple sheets) Note: Many Windows programs allow you to change printer settings, such as number of copies, paper size, or printer resolution. For some of these settings, the changes you make in Windows programs will override the settings specified in the SuperScript 870 Windows Printer Driver.
