SIMM.
Follow these steps to install the memory
expansion module.
1.
Turn off the printer power.
Note:
To protect your printer from
possible damage make sure it is powered
down prior to installation of the module.
2.
Pull the power cord from the rear of the
printer and disconnect the parallel printer
cable.
3.
Press the Top cover release button and open
the Top cover.
4.
With a phillips-head screwdriver, remove the
two screws that hold the Side cover of the
printer in place and remove the Side cover.
